Commissioning

Commissioning is the structured process of verifying that facility systems are installed, integrated, and performing as designed. It is critical for data centers because individual equipment tests are not enough to prove system behavior under failure or transfer scenarios.

Coincident peak

Coincident peak refers to a customer's load during a larger system peak, such as a utility, RTO, or transmission-zone peak. It matters because some charges are assigned based on contribution to system peaks rather than the customer's own monthly maximum.
